This two-hour online course is approved by the Department of Human Services (DHS) and meets the Pennsylvania Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs continuing education requirements for healthcare professionals.
Throughout the course, you'll learn to identify signs of physical, sexual, and emotional abuse, neglect and human trafficking. Successfully completing this course will fulfill the relicensure requirements for healthcare professionals in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. It also satisfies the training requirements under Act 31 of 2014, titled "Child Abuse: Recognition and Reporting," which took effect on January 1, 2015.
